Summary

This tour takes you along the boardwalks in the heart of the marshland. The Linnaistensuo Nature Reserve is located just 7 kilometers from the center of Lahti.

We start the tour at the gate of the Kujala recycling center (or bus stop). In Lahti, waste recycling has been taken to a great extent and the guide will tell you more about it. We walk about 1.5 km from the waste center to the Linnainen swamp nature reserve. The area is 200 ha in size and we explore the swamp by walking along a long wooden path. The forests bordering the swamp and the sphagnum moss bog with its knotty pines make you forget about the urban environment.

We will enjoy a snack at a suitable place along the route, enjoying the peace of the bog. The snack is included in the price of the trip.
